Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or registering an account on BillLaunch ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and applicable laws. If you are registering on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Free Trial & Subscription Billing

  • 14-Day Free Trial: BillLaunch offers a 14-day free trial on selected plans. Credit card details may be required upon signup, but billing commences only after trial expiration unless canceled prior.
  • Recurring Billing: Paid subscriptions auto-renew on a monthly, semiannual, or annual cycle via Stripe. You authorize recurring charges until canceled.
  • Cancellation & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings > Billing or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle. Paid subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Chargebacks & Disputes: Unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate suspension of organization access until resolved.

3. Contractor Duty to Review AI-Generated Documents

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER REGARDING AI ASSISTANT OUTPUTS:

BillLaunch AI features generate writing suggestions for estimates, contracts, invoices, and customer communications based on user inputs. You (the business owner/contractor) maintain sole responsibility for reviewing, verifying, and approving all prices, quantities, scope of work, project measurements, payment terms, and legal clauses before sending documents to your clients. BillLaunch assumes no liability for errors in user-approved documents.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use BillLaunch to:

  • Issue fraudulent invoices, deceptive quotes, or unlawful demand letters.
  • Upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized multi-tenant data access, or perform denial of service attacks.
  • Attempt prompt injection attacks or exploit AI systems to bypass platform controls.

5. Ownership of User Data & Platform IP

You retain 100% ownership of your business data, client records, estimates, invoices, and trade content uploaded to BillLaunch. BillLaunch retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform software, trademarks, logos, UI designs, and underlying code.

6. Service Availability & Limitation of Liability

BillLaunch provides the platform on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we maintain multi-zone redundancy and target high uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted platform access. In no event shall BillLaunch's total cumulative liability exceed the fees paid by you to BillLaunch during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
